City adventures and mountain encounters. Cultural treasures and natural wonders - Posttrip Innsbruck

The post-trip began with a warm welcome in Innsbruck, where participants enjoyed a guided tour through the historic old town. While strolling its charming streets, they gained fascinating insights into the city’s rich history and admired many of its main sights.

After a productive workshop day, the group gathered for dinner at the traditional Stiftskeller, known for authentic Tirolean cuisine, cozy parlors, and its rustic beer garden atmosphere in the heart of the old town.

The next day offered a varied program, starting with a scenic ride on the Nordkettenbahnen, taking participants from the city center to the Top of Innsbruck in just minutes. A spectacular 360° view awaited—Innsbruck on one side, the Karwendel mountains on the other—creating unforgettable moments.

Lunch was enjoyed at Restaurant Seegrube, perched over 1,900 meters above sea level. With its cozy alpine setting and panoramic views, it was the perfect spot to relax and recharge.

In the afternoon, the group visited Ambras Castle, home to the famous collections of Archduke Ferdinand II. Highlights included the Chamber of Art and Curiosities, the Habsburg Portrait Gallery, and one of the world’s largest historic glass collections.

The tour continued to the Bergisel Ski Jump, a striking landmark designed by architect Zaha Hadid. An architectural icon and key venue for the annual Four Hills Tournament, it left a strong impression.

The day—and the trip—ended with a festive Tyrolean Evening at the Alpensaal. Traditional music, Schuhplattler, yodeling, and local specialties created a joyful and authentic finale to a memorable stay in Tirol.

Where History Meets Nature - Posttrip Hall-Wattens

Nestled between the Karwendel Nature Park and the Tux Pre-Alps, the Hall-Wattens region offers year-round natural beauty, outdoor adventures, and culinary delights. A stroll through the historic old town of Hall in Tirol brings centuries of history to life, while the surrounding mountains invite visitors to explore pristine alpine landscapes.

The post-trip began at the colorful Bistro SECCO, the perfect place to unwind after a day of workshops. With fresh ingredients and creative cuisine, it set a relaxed yet refined tone for the evening.

The next morning, participants set out on a Nature Watch Tour in the Karwendel mountains. Guided by an expert, they discovered rare alpine flowers like the bearded bellflower and Turk’s cap lily, while learning fascinating facts about the region’s flora and fauna.

After lunch in the quiet village of Gnadenwald, the group enjoyed a guided city tour of Hall in Tirol, exploring cobbled streets, medieval towers, and the timeless charm of this historic town.

In the evening, they dined at Restaurant Bretze, known for its unique artist rooms—spaces once exchanged for art by visiting creatives. This legacy of inspiration still shapes the restaurant’s atmosphere and cuisine today.

The trip ended with an overnight stay at Gasthof Badl in Ampass, before participants departed the next morning.

Glacial Adventures and Alpine Relaxation in the Stubai Valley - Posttrip Stubai

The post-trip participants stayed at the Alpen-Wellness-Hotel Gasteigerhof in Neustift, where they were welcomed with a delicious dinner following a long and productive work-shop day on Friday.

The next morning, a comfortable transfer brought the group to the valley station of the Stubai Glacier, Austria’s largest glacier ski area. From there, they boarded the gondola and ascended to the Gamsgarten mountain station at 2,620 meters above sea level, where they were greeted by their ski guides.

What followed was an unforgettable day on the slopes at over 3,000 meters, enjoying the final days of the ski season in perfect spring conditions. Thanks to its high altitude, the Stubai Glacier offers a long skiing season—from October all the way into May. After re-turning their ski equipment, the group gathered for a relaxed lunch at the Gamsgarten Market Restaurant.

In the afternoon, they descended back into the valley by gondola and returned to the hotel. There, they had time to unwind and recharge in the hotel's wellness and spa area—a well-deserved break after an active and exhilarating day on the glacier.

The day concluded with a final, delicious dinner at the Gasteigerhof, rounding off the trip in true Tyrolean style.

All post-trips were made smooth and comfortable thanks to the reliable service of Four Seasons Travel, the official transfer partner.
