Boutique hotels, “Naturchalets” or self-catering apartments:  Tirol's new accommodations certainly have the “wow” factor! The trend towards first-class amenities, modern Alpine style and spacious wellness areas continues unabated. 

Europe's largest tourism company invests in the Pillerseetal Valley
The TUI tourism group is expanding its winter sports activities. With this in mind, the "Austria Trend Alpine Resort" in Fieberbrunn is being converted into the 4-star "TUI blue Fieberbrunn" by November 2019.  TUI blue hotels offer traditional Tirolean architecture, authentic cuisine and a comprehensive range of sporting activities. The Pillerseehof in St. Ulrich am Pillersee will become the TUI SuneoClub, with a rating of 3.5-stars.

Kufstein: Tiroler Hof becomes Victoria's Home
The traditional "Tiroler Hof" in Kufstein has been transformed into the chic "Viktorias Home” 4-star boutique hotel. It takes its name from Viktoria Fahringer, who recently took the hotel over from her parents. The elegantly designed apartments offer a separate living and sleeping area, a bespoke kitchen and private spa with infrared cabin and aroma steam bath.  In the adjoining gourmet restaurant, Viktoria works as a chef and patissiers, even sharing her expert knowledge during cookery courses.

Pop Down becomes Mari Pop
The temporary and innovative "Pop Down Hotel" in Ried im Zillertal is currently undergoing comprehensive renovations and developed into the "Mari Pop” boutique hotel.  From December 2019, the winter season will begin with a chic wellness & spa area. The hosts have taken special care to remain as true as possible to the original design.  With this in mind, parts of the extra-long dining table have been preserved, the rooms are individually designed and a progressive cultural programme is also part of the special offer.

C02-neutral: Hotel Tipotsch in Stumm
"Tipotsch" in the Zillertal Valley is also starting the winter after comprehensive renovations. The traditional hotel has been extended and 16 new rooms and suites were created. The hotel is heated with geothermal energy and the CO2-neutral climate-control ceiling provides welcome coolness in summer. The high-grade regional “moon wood” was felled in line with the appropriate moon phase.  In the interior, bright fabrics create a beautiful contrast to the alpine style.

New Naturchalets in Mayrhofen
Hansl, Resi, Lisl and Seppi are the names of the four brand new and comfortably equipped "Griena Naturchalets" in Mayrhofen in Zillertal, which will be available from December 2019. Balanced colours, pleasant timber and fine materials set the tone in the two-storey holiday homes.  The chalets can comfortably accommodate 6 to 10 persons and have 4 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and 3 bathrooms with “rain effect” showers.

Right on the slopes: The Peak Apartments & Chalets in Sölden
The host family Kneisl from Sölden will be welcoming self-catering guests directly on the ski slope as from next winter. "The Peak" comprises of brand new chalets and apartments with views over Sölden. Mature timber and stone dominate the stylish ambience, while both chalets are equipped with infrared benches and offer space for up to 7 persons.

Where junior boss Marcello has been baking pizzas at "Don Camillo" for years, "Apart Peppone" has now added 22 well-equipped apartments for 4 to 6 people.  The holiday apartments have fully equipped kitchens, breakfast and bread roll service are included.  To indulge in the essential pleasures of rest and relaxation, you just need to cross the road to visit the famous “Aqua Dome“.

All-Suite Resort in the Ötztal Valley: number two of four
Spacious rooms, high-quality materials, solid oak floors: a second "All Suite Resort" has been opened in Oetz, in addition to the flagship location in Kühtai. Two more branches are soon to follow in Tirol. The newly built resort in the Ötztal valley is less than 100 metres from the Achterkogelbahn lift and has a luxurious 500-m² spa building. Visitors can indulge in culinary delights in the shop bistro, and the charging station for e-cars is an innovative extra.

47 new rooms and suites at the Zugspitz Resort Ehrwald
The 4-star holiday resort at the foothills of Mount Zugspitze will reopen in December 2019. By then, a new building with 47 rooms in alpine design will have been built in addition to the existing apartment house. Besides junior and family suites, guests can now look forward to residing in rooftop rooms.
