One of the world's largest and most modern ski areas, “SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental“ will be hosting the B2B event, "International Ski Travel Market”, from 24th to 26th March 2019.
The International Ski Travel Market (ISTM) is a two-day trade event with around 1,500 pre-scheduled appointments between buyers and suppliers of international ski travel and the winter sports industry. Representatives from over 17 countries worldwide will be in attendance.
The new ISTM venue, SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental, was presented during ISTM 2018 in Swiss Grindelwald.
ISTM event director Luke Boulton is convinced he has found the perfect host in SkiWelt: "The modern infrastructure and genuine hospitality of SkiWelt will provide ski travel industry experts with the perfect ambience. The venue also enjoys excellent connections with the three nearby airports of Innsbruck, Salzburg and Munich and two train stations in Hopfgarten and Westendorf, making it very well placed logistically to welcome the ISTM community from near and far”.
Anita Baumgartner, Marketing Manager of SkiWelt, adds: "We are delighted to be hosting ISTM in 2019. With 284 kilometres of slopes, 90 state-of-the-art lift systems and over 70 family-run alpine huts, we offer a huge variety of experiences and special locations”.
Holger Gassler, Head of Market Management at Tirol Werbung, adds: "It is great to welcome ISTM once again to Tirol, after Kitzbühel and Ötztal already successfully hosted this top-class winter sports networking event”. "The travel sector plays a vital role in the success of Tirol’s tourism industry. As one of the world’s largest and most modern ski areas, SkiWelt is the perfect venue for this international trade meeting”.
